You Will Need:
33 g (1.16 oz) Aloe Butter
33 g (1.16 oz) Beeswax
34 g ( 1.20 oz) Meadowfoam Seed Oil
2 g (0.07 oz) Fragrance Oil (optional)
0.15 cc Mica Pigment Powder - Red (Oil Soluble)
Combine ingredients in a double boiler over medium heat until melted. Add optional fragrance (we used Jack Frost Fragrance Oil) and remove from heat source. Allow to cool slightly before pouring your first (natural) layer into your push up tubes. Allow to set up almost completely. There should be a thick skin on the top of your first pour.
Return double boiler to heat source and warm gently to re-liquify lotion bar base. When liquid, add colorant and whisk gently to combine. Carefully pour second layer over first natural layer and fill to top. Allow to cool completely.
