Vacuum Beads help eliminate odors from detritus in your vacuum cleaner. Adding scented beads to the bag (or canister) of your vacuum cleaner will release a fresh scent while vacuuming without harming carpets or leaving a powder residue.
You Will Need:
16 oz Sachet Beads
4.5 oz Fragrance Oil (We used Agave Nectar Fragrance Oil)
Measure sachet beads into a glass jar with fragrance oil. Cover with a lid and allow to sit for up to 1 week. Agitate several times a day. The beads will absorb the fragrance oil and become dry to the touch. Some fragrances absorb quickly and others require longer to absorb.
When beads are completely dry to the touch, package in an airtight container like a zip pouch or jar.
To Use: Simply place 2-3 tablespoons into your vacuum bag or canister (if bagless) and vacuum away. Depending upon the strength of your fragrance, beads will last through 6-8 uses of the vacuum.
