Highlights:
- Soft water = soft hair.
- Washing clothes in soft water means softer clothes and less detergent usage.
- Soft water prevents bath tub ring, soap scum & scale.
- Water softening reduces dissolved minerals in water which react with soaps and detergents which prevent them from foaming properly and leave rings, scum & scale.
- When tested on shower heads, faucets retained a luster finish and full spray. Hard water caused faucets to scale up and lost 75% of their efficiency.
- Scaled up faucets can harbor pathogenic organisms which anchor and grow on the scale buildup.
