Watermelon is a summertime staple and a perfect partner for summertime projects with the kiddos! This recipe can be tweaked to include different fragrances and colors. Cue up some creativity!
You Will Need:
16 oz Suspension Gel Soap
5 ml (1 tsp) Watermelon Flavor Fragrance Oil
7.5 ml (1.5 tsp) Kiwi Seeds
2 drops FD&C Red #40 - Liquid
2 drops D&C Red #33 - Liquid
Combine all ingredients in a sterile, glass mixing container. Pour into containers and cap.
Variations:
- Substitute 2 drops FD&C Yellow #5 - Liquid & 2 drops FD&C Yellow #6 - Liquid and make an orange watermelon.
- Substitute Kiwi Strawberry Fragrance Oil, 2 drops FD&C Blue #1 - Liquid and 3 drops FD&C Yellow #5 - Liquid to make a kiwi-strawberry.
- Omit colorant and substitute a tropical fragrance like: Tropical Fruit Fragrance Oil, Monkey Farts Fragrance Oil, Pina Colada Flavor Fragrance Oil, Passion Punch Fragrance Oil to make a tropical dragonfruit.
