Details of the program follow:

• For every $1 purchased at BathBodySupply.com a customer will earn 1 point. A customer can use the points on future orders to receive a discount.
• Currently, 250 points will yield a $10 credit off of your order. We are working with our web designer to offer additional benefits through this program.

Points can be used at anytime or built up for future rewards. They are accrued for stock, sale and closeout items. Taxes and separate freight/shipping costs will not accrue points. Points are not transferable so it is very important that you maintain one account with us as we are unable to combine accounts. Recipe: Watermelon Scrub

You Will Need:

8 oz Dendritic Salt
0.50 oz Strawberry Fruit Powder, Kosher
4 oz BBS Massage Oil Base
5 ml (1 tsp) Watermelon Flavor Fragrance Oil
5 ml (1 tsp) Kiwi Seeds
2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) Optiphen Plus (Preservative)

Phase 1: Combine dry ingredients in a sterile mixing container until thoroughly incorporated.

Phase 2: Add Massage Oil Base, preservative and fragrance to dry ingredients and mix well until completely blended. Package in a sterile, airtight container.

To Use: Apply to problem areas using a circular motion. Rinse clean.

Tip: If scrub is too oily, add 1 oz Polysorbate 20 to the liquid ingredients. Polysorbate 20 is an emulsifier that will help break down the oils in the scrub when introduced to water in the shower or tub.

Recipe: Shaving Cream

You Will Need:

2 oz Stearic Acid
1 oz Castor Oil
8 oz Hot Water (distilled)
5 ml (1 tsp) Borax Powder
1.5 oz Bubble Wash Concentrate
10 ml (2 tsp) Oat Straw, Tincture (Organic)
2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) Allantoin USP

Phase 1: Melt stearic acid and castor oil in double boiler until clear liquid forms.

Phase 2: In a stainless steel or glass mixing bowl, combine hot water, borax, allantoin, oat straw tincture and bubble wash concentrate. Stir until the borax & allantoin is dissolved.

Phase 3: Pour the water solution into a blender reserved for formulating and blend well for about 1 minute (alternately, you can use a stick blender reserved for formulating). Slowly pour the melted castor oil mixture into the bubble wash/borax solution. Blend on high until a smooth cream forms.

Phase 4: Scoop into a sterile sealable container and allow to cool completely.

To Use: Wash area to be shaved using warm water, then apply the shaving cream and shave.

Recipe: Vegan Potato Salad

I love potato salad, but couldn't bring myself to make it since I quit eating meat. I could never justify eating that much mayo (especially since mayo, by nature, contains eggs). This recipe is a perfect replacement for traditional creamy potato salad without the eggy sacrifice!

You will need:

5 lbs Organic Yukon Gold Potatoes (boiled, peeled & chopped into chunks)
1/2 bunch Organic Celery (sliced thin)
1 small Red Onion (diced)
1/2 cup Martini Olives (sliced)
1.5 cups Original Vegenaise ®
1/2 cup Stoneground Mustard
Paprika (to taste)

Combine all vegetables into a large container, tossing well to combine all elements.

In a small mixing container, combine Vegenaise, mustard and paprika. Fold into vegetables and toss lightly to combine. Garnish with additional paprika as desired.

Recipe: Woodsy Aftershave Lotion

You Will Need:

8 oz Natural Botanical Lotion
2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) Cedarwood Essential Oil
2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) Lavender, Bulgarian Essential Oil
20 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
10 drops Rosewood (Renewable Source) Essential Oil

Phase 1: Combine all ingredients in a sterile container and mix thoroughly.

Phase 2: Pour into a bottle equipped with a push disc cap.

Phase 4: Your aftershave lotion is ready to use!

Recipe: Cool Mint Aftershave

You Will Need:

8 oz Witch Hazel Distillate
1 oz Vegetable Glycerin
2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) Peppermint Essential Oil
2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) Lavender, Bulgarian Essential Oil
1.25 ml (1/4 tsp) Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil

Phase 1: Combine the ingredients (except the essential oils) in a sterile container and mix thoroughly.

Phase 2: Add the essential oils.

Phase 3: Pour into either a bottle equipped with a sprayer top or an orifice reducer and cap.

Phase 4: Your aftershave is ready to use!

Why Aftershave?

Aftershave describes a lotion, gel, balm, powder, or liquid used mainly by men after they have finished the act of shaving. It may contain an antiseptic agent to prevent infection of cuts. Menthol is used in some varieties as well to numb damaged skin.

Some aftershaves utilize fragrance or essential oil to enhance scent and differentiate themselves. Moisturizers are often touted as able to soften the skin. Astringents may also be found in aftershave.

Many fashion designer houses lend their names to brands of aftershave, and thus aftershave is sometimes mistakenly referred to as Eau de Cologne. Aftershave in lotion form is making a comeback in many circles as well, due to the blended meaning of the words aftershave and EDT or EDP.

The original aftershaves were Witch Hazel and Bay Rum, and have been documented in shaving guides. Bay rum is still sold as an aftershave from many distributors, made by many manufacturers; it is also a common shave soap, aftershave, and eau de toilet fragrance.

When formulating, keep in mind that aftershave is intended to perform three (3) basic functions post-shaving:

1) Contain an antiseptic agent to keep newly vulnerable skin germ free
2) Contain skin-soothing ingredients
3) Help close the pores (opened from the warm water and the blade) to keep out dirt and oil.

Recipe: Strawberries & Cream Facial Masque

Strawberries contain salicylic acid which helps rid the skin of dead cells, helping to make your pores appear smaller and your face look brighter and shinier. They gently refresh and exfoliate the skin, remove impurities, and reduce redness and swelling. This is a wonderful cleansing and skin softening facial mask.

You will need:

1 oz Kaolin - White Clay
2 oz Goats Milk Powder
0.50 oz Strawberry Fruit Powder, Kosher

In a small stainless steel or glass mixing bowl, combine ingredients until well blended. Store powdered masque in an airtight container until use.

To Use: Add distilled water, hydrosol or Light Facial Hydrator Spray to approximately 1 oz powder to make a paste. Spread paste onto face and throat. Allow to sit (roughly 20 - 30 minutes). Rinse. Moisturize as needed.

Note: Do NOT pre-mix wet and dry ingredients as they are not stable long-term without a preservative.

Summer Hours

This is a reminder that Smell No Evil, Ltd is now working summer office and warehouse hours.

Summer hours are:

Monday to Thursday
10:00am - 5:00pm (eastern)
Closed Friday

Our summer hours run from Memorial Day to Labor Day. After Labor Day we will return to working Fridays.

For those of you new to Smell No Evil, Ltd., our summer hours were created for several reasons:

• To lessen utility bills during hot summer months.
  
• To comply with parking bans on Friday due to the Cuyahoga Falls Riverfront Event Schedule.
• To balance total annual hours our employees work. In the fall and winter our employees work more hours often with no additional pay. In the summer, they work fewer hours without a decrease to their paycheck.
• Encourages a healthy lifestyle by providing employees the opportunity to get outdoors while weather is nice. A respite from the wicked Ohio winters when they will be working.
