Recipe: Smoky Chile Slaw

You Will Need:

*adapted from Bobby Flay's Smoked Chile Cole Slaw Recipe

1 cup Original Vegenaise ®
3 tbs
Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce (available in the Mexican food aisle)
4 tbs Fresh Lime Juice

3 tsp
Organic Agave Nectar
2 tsp Ground Cumin
Kosher Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper
32 oz
Pre-Packaged Shredded Organic Broccoli Slaw Veggies (Broccoli, Red Cabbage, Carrots)
1 small Red Onion, halved and thinly sliced

1/4 cup chopped Fresh Cilantro
  1. Combine vegenaise, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, lime juice, agave nectar and cumin in large bowl. Season, if desired, with salt and black pepper.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 20 minutes before serving.

I love the broccoli slaw as an alternative to cabbage and the smoky flavor from the chipotle peppers makes it a great BBQ side dish!
